Excel placement
Our summer placement with Southampton City Council, investigating the bats on Southampton Common, is currently being advertised here http://www.southampton.ac.uk/careers/employability/workexperience/excel_uk.html under “Engineering and Scientific” with job title “Ecologist Researcher”. The placement will be paid and is part-time for 12 weeks over the summer. Our local partners really want students with experience of a final year project (sorry 1st and 2nd years) and will look great on all job/postgrad applications for 3rd years.
