SEEN 7.6 Southampton news

The reason for the gap in SEEN is that the last week of term was very hectic. Along with several PhD students I went to the British Ecological Society annual meeting in Liverpool. 4th year Zoology student, Frances Mullany, also came and gave a talk about her and Chloe Fulford’s 3rd year projects that I supervised, investigating the robins on Southampton common. The BBC got very excited about the project. It appeared on their website http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-38317255

Frances and I also went on 5 radio stations between us! It just goes to show what is possible from an undergraduate project.
