Volunteers needed for a bat project over the summer. The project is a collaboration with multiple stakeholders, such as Southampton City Council, the Bat Conservation Trust and Southampton Common Forum, investigating the effect of artificial lighting on bat behaviour in Southampton Common. Project dates are not fully confirmed as of yet but volunteers will be required on evenings/nights between July and early September. Commitment for the whole summer isn’t required – volunteers can help out on as few or as many days as they would like. Contact Rozel Hopkins or Orly Razgour for more information.
