In July I met Simon Watt from “Inside Nature’s giants” at the Winchester science festival. I approached him, on BioSoc’s behalf, to give a talk and he agreed! Here is some more information from BioSoc’s Biology/Zoology education rep, Sophie Watts: “BioSoc is very proud to announce that Simon Watt from ‘Inside Nature’s Giants’ will be at Southampton University specifically at our request to talk about life behind the scenes filming this awesome programme.

Eco-fieldtrips will be on campus today at 2pm (building 44, lecture theatre B) to talk about dissertation opportunities abroad. Lots of Southampton alumni now work for this company, so 3^rd years may also find it interesting to attend.
