Biosoc have a mammoth start to their talks schedule this year – Prof. Alice Roberts (Professor for Public Engagement with Science, University of Birmingham) will give a seminar entitled “The mysterious disappearance of the Ice Age megafauna” on Thursday 18 October 2012 from 13.00-14.00, Building 67 Room 1027.
Alice is widely known for her television work (Time Team, Coast, Incredible Human Journey, Don’t Die Young) and this should be a great opportunity for students to hear her speak, and talk to her afterwards when Alice will be signing books in B85/observatory (you can buy books at the signing).
