National Student Survey
Final year students – you have probably all heard about the National Student Survey and been asked to give your response, please do. Currently, the response rate from Chemistry and Medicine is higher – we cannot let them win!
Shoresearch
I went to the Hampshire annual recorders forum last weekend (species recorders, not the instrument J) and found out about a couple of volunteering opportunities for you all. I’ll spread them across editions. This week’s opportunity is Shoresearch with the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Shoresearch is a surveying and recording scheme taking place around the Hampshire and Isle of Wight coastline. Surveys run from March to September, so it’s the perfect time to sign up. You can also attend a training course to learn more about the species you will find. The next course is at Lepe all day on Saturday 29th March. It includes an afternoon survey.
