4 week placement in China
Huawei are offering a 4 week work experience programme in China in August 2015. This includes:
- 2 weeks in Beijing receiving Mandarin language training, learning about Chinese culture and tours of The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China
- 2 weeks in Shenzhen learning about Huawei’s international business culture, values, products and solutions and visiting Huawei’s F1 Exhibition Centre, Exhibition Hall, Logistics Centre, R&D labs and a state-of-the-art factory facility
- Visa application, travel and accommodation costs, plus sundry living expenses of £600
Applicant must be:
- STEM undergraduates (male and particularly female)
- UK passport holders
- Interested in telecoms and technology issues
- Able to demonstrate excellent academic acumen
Applications open on Monday 8th December and close on Wednesday 7th January. Students must be available for interview from 12th – 14th January. The British Ecological Society is holding its annual careers conference on 9th February from 9am-4pm at Charles Darwin House in central London.
