Biodiversity intern project presentations
For the past 5 summers graduands from the Centre for Biological Sciences have undertaken biodiversity internships with Southampton City Council and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Last summer, the city council interns investigated lighting effects on the bats on Southampton Common. The wildlife trust interns investigated the effect of environmental stewardship on bumblebees.
