BioBlitz 2015

On the evening and 5th June until the evening of 6th June we will be holding the Southampton BioBlitz on campus. This is an opportunity for members of the public to come along to find out about the species around them. Local species experts will come along to officially record what we find (last year we found over 200 species) and we are looking for student volunteers to assist on guided walks. This would give you lots of employability skills and experience, as well as being a really fun day. If you would like to volunteer, please let me know.

MRes Wildlife Conservation

We have begun interviewing for our September 2015 intake for MRes Wildlife Conservation. As alumni you will receive a 10% discount from the basic postgraduate fee (which means a saving of £1000). You may also benefit from the postgraduate bursaries that final year students were recently emailed about. 3rd year students, if you are interested, please do apply soon. There is more information on the course website http://www.southampton.ac.uk/wildlifeconservation
