PhD opportunity at University of Reading

Supervised by Robbie Girling, who was a postdoc here, he says “? It is for a fully-funded NERC PhD studentship that I am advertising here at the University of Reading.

The project is looking at how pollution can disrupt mating and flower finding in moths and requires someone with a good understanding of behavioural ecology and a basic knowledge of chemistry (although this can be taught if necessary). The studentship would start in October 2016.

See: http://www.met.reading.ac.uk/nercdtp/home/available/desc/SC201617.pdf or the advert attached to this email.

Further information can be found at: http://www.met.reading.ac.uk/nercdtp/home/

I would like to encourage any students who are interested to get in touch with me by email (r.girling@reading.ac.uk) if they would like to know more. Thanks very much.”
