Botanical University Challenge
I emailed you all last week about Botanical University Challenge. I haven’t received any further information yet from the organiser but as soon as I do, I will let you know. If you are interested, please reply to my email from last week. I have secured funding for our team entry and travel.
Insect ID workshops
Christine Taylor from Hampshire Cultural Trust is running several insect ID courses in 2016:
-Solitary bees and wasps – 2nd April £25
-Bumblebees – 30th April £25
-Ladybirds – 16th July £25
-Shieldbugs and leatherbugs – 17th September £25

Mammal society’s 5th student conference
8th-10th April 2016 at Yarnfield Park Training and Conference centre in Staffordshire. Deadline for abstract submissions is 30th Jan for the student conference. Finalists, if you collected data on a mammal for your dissertation, talk to your supervisor asap about preparing an abstract. You may be eligible for a bursary from the mammal society towards attendance costs.
