Operation Wallacea promotion talk
Operation Wallacea run biodiversity research programmes in some of the most diverse and threatened environments on the planet. These research programmes are available for students to join over the summer. You are able to gain experience of working with a range of different university academics as a research assistant, or to gather data for an independent research project. There are more than 200 academics who work on the programme and we have 24 research sites spread across 14 countries.
Operation Wallacea are coming to the University of Southampton on Thursday 10th November at 1pm. The presentation is being held in 46 / 2005 (L/T C).”
Songs for Madagascar
The music documentary film Songs for Madagascar will be shown on November 4th at 7.30pm in the Turner Sims concert hall followed by a question and answer session with film director and producer Cesar and Marie-Clemence Paes from Laterit film production, and the researcher Professor Ulrike Meinhof .
